cwoper
I have a Megellan Color TRAK(3 years). The scale for my arrival and proximity alarm goes from 100 feet to 1 mile.Is there anyway that I can get into the brain of this GPS and get my alarms to go off at a closer proximity???If not,any hints on getting a little more close to my mark. Thanks Dudes!!! +Cachetrotters
I'm thinking that's why they call it a 'proximity alarm', instead of a 'high precision, pinpoint accuracy, stop-on-a-dime alarm'. It's just there to let you know that you are in the area. I wonder if it also is correlated to the published specification when Selective Availability was on. You could call Magellan and ask if there have been any software updates--in fact, check the website. They do list the ColorTrak, so there may be one. don Quote Link to comment
