How do I Turn off Waypoints in Mapsource?

After designing a route, I'll often add numerous waypoints for the area I'll be driving in. After awhile, though, the waypoint names begin to obscure the actual route.

 

Is there a way to turn off displaying waypoints in Mapsource in order to see the maps and a route easier?

Ok...I am no expert...I'm not even moderately proficient...so take this for what it is.

 

Probably the best way would be to rename the map with your routes and save it as a separate file. THEN....on the new file, delete the waypoints. All your routes will remain but the waypoints will be gone.

 

I know of no way to shut off the display of waypoints although you can go to each one individually and limit the display to just the symbol. No name or description, in other words, which definitely will reduce screen clutter. - JamesJM

You can go to the Waypoints tab to the left of the map, do a Ctrl-A to select all waypoints, then right click and Cut. You can paste them back later.
