Guest jndery Posted November 2, 2001 Share Posted November 2, 2001 Wow!! Compared to my magellan 2000 This thing locks on fast. First time I turned it on it locked on 3D in less than a minute. My only complaint is that its a little hard to read the print for an old man. Havn't tried out all the bells and whistles yet but so far no problems. Very happy with it. Quote Link to comment

I have a friend with a 2000xl and it is a slow unit with a map page that is almost useless in detail(track points) and function. The GPS76 is going to be light years ahead in fun and function. With WAAS enabled it has brought me back within under 5 ft every time without having to fiddle around. Very impressive! Quote Link to comment
