Hi,

Just noticed that you have us listed as not responded.

I responded as timp which is my username bur we actually cache as Tim & June (Winchester). So you can delete timp and add Tim & June (Winchester). :-)

Happy caching.

Ummm... Well, I havn't actually found any caches yet, and I don't think I should try placing any until I've found a few, so I dunno whether I count, but I am in the UK...

WM6P seems to be based on the West Coast of the US judging by his other plants - I guess he planted the one on Islay on his jollybags (it's in a fabulous spot incidentally - not that I've been back since the cache was planted mind you)

I did not realise we had to clock in and out, I stopped doing that when I retired !!!!, and I have made two postings, the first one was really good as I got an answer within two hours of posting which I thought was rather cool many thank to all who replied

I used the eMap for the first time today and it took me straight to the road that I was looking for and with out silly maps too.

I guess that the above was tongue-in-cheek, but just in case, I thought I would reply. This thread was started just out of interest to find out how many people cache in the UK.

There is no requirement to be listed, it's just for fun.

Hope you are enjoying geocaching.

Hi all, just checking in. As a couple of Britsh geocachers currently living in the uS. We have been keeping one eye on UK geocaching with interest. We have only been to one UK cache, does that count ??? Well be back. Take it easy everyone, Zcat.

Please can you count us in too!!

We have only officially been cachers since 12th November, but have already done 13 caches (I think) - including completing the Cluedo multi-cache by Scotty in 4 hours (yes, we are throwing down the gauntlet!!)[ icon_wink.gif]

We are planning to place caches in our area, and have one multicache planned - I won't give anything away, but our name gives a clue!

Thanks,

Rincewind & Luggage

I am totally new to this. Although have heard it spoken about several times on websites and through friends. Am still a little confused, and do not have the unit, as I do not have the money to pay for it at the moment, little pricey...lol I have read everything, but still confused on some parts of it. But owell, guess I will figure it out..lol. I am near Bury St Edmonds in Suffolk, am from the US, and we are USAF. But this sounds really interesting. I do Land Mail Art Objects in the mail. Just saying hi, and still trying to figure everything out...lol

If you have relatives or friends in the US then get them to buy one for you and ship it over. I bought my Garmin eTrex for $79, (UK price ~£100), from Fry's.......
