+TheCat
Ok Guys & Gals following the sugestion that we should have a fox hunt up North. I am willing to organize one. It would be good to also have a meet as well and show those Southerners we know how to party. (Anyone want to help organize the event) I can sort out the Fox Hunt. So please lets have some ideas for locations. Mark (TheCat) www.geocacheuk.com Quote Link to comment
adrianjohn
How about comming to the seaside at Cleethorpes, I could fix a cache to find and maybe a game or two. If the weather is nice say end of April or May maybe a BBQ near the boating lake. Also a couple of pubs not too far away. Quote Link to comment
+The Hornet
Ah Cleethorpes, that's a name that's grabbed my imagination for years I'd very much like to join in. So I might arrange an expedition to another exotic part of the world (February in California, May in Cleethorpes) to get some 'Northern Caches'. _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do. adrianjohn
This is off topic I know, if you want northern caches you will have to find them on your way. Unfortunately Cleethorpes is on the edge of the Great Eastern Cache Desert. Quote Link to comment
+The Good Shepherds
Cleethorpes? Isn't that somewhere in the midlands? Quote Link to comment

My thoughts exactly. Let's all help to 'water' that desert. _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do. adrianjohn
Would anyone like to have a Cache Meet in Cleethorpes? I Think I could do a bit of organising in liason with Mark The Cat and fit it into the Foxhunt circuit. Quote Link to comment
+TheCat
Well I am up for it no problems. I can arrange a Fox Hunt in the area. What say we meet up for a drink to sort something out. Email me to mark@geocacheuk.com and I will come over. Mark (TheCat) www.geocacheuk.com [This message was edited by TheCat on February 16, 2003 at 03:32 PM.] Quote Link to comment
+Travers
So maybe you could start in Cleethorpes and then move up to the North? Quote Link to comment
adrianjohn
This thing about Cleethorpes and the Midlands, it all depends on your point of view. Most people would agree that Manchester and Liverpool are in the North, well Cleethorpes is further north geographically. However to those in the north i.e The Good Shepherds I suppose it could be midlands. Quote Link to comment
el10t
Is it North of the Watford Gap? Rich mobilis in mobili Quote Link to comment

Actually, many people reckon that the geographical centre of the UK is a place called Haltwhistle, which is actually just a tad north of where we live (and not far from the Scottish border). So maybe we're midlanders too Quote Link to comment
