+jonboy Posted November 4, 2002 Posted November 4, 2002 I'm coming over to London and plan to do a little geocaching, but I am staying in cheap digs in Kangaroo Court, so computer access will be a problem. I would appreciate any suggestions on where I could get internet access. Cheers, jonboy Quote
Ben Pid Posted November 4, 2002 Posted November 4, 2002 Plenty of Internet cafes al over London my firend, you wont have trouble finding one down any major shopping street. Down Oxford Street there is a huge Internet cafe by EASY that isnt cheap but does the job, used it a fair few times whilst caching in London. Pid Ben Piddington http://www.buckscaching.co.uk Quote
+Nia Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 Much cheeper and easier to access are BT internet phone boxes, I have used them when i'm out as i don't have a laptop. I find them very good. Tech-no notice Quote
ghost_inthe_machine Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 I used an internet cafe in London only a few weeks ago to double check some cache info for the evenong's entertainment. It was also a big one run by 'Easy' As for cheap, well on a pence per minute it may have been bad (I don't know for sure) but I only bought a 50p ticket which reakoned it would last almost an hour. I certainly never finished it, but at 50p wasn;t really that bothered. I thought the one I was in was just off trafalgar square (certainly i walked there from Waterloo) but my memory for street name is appauling Hope that helps Roddy Quote
