Map problems with a Garmin GPS iii+

Hi all!

We are using a Garmin GPS iii+

We (my 2 daughters and I) have only done 1 cache which was lots of fun.

The Garmin we are using gives very accurate results in terms of absolute position. The problem seems to be with the built in map it appears to have an offset (north to south) of about 0.5 a mile. I rarely use the map so it's not a huge problem, but does anyone have any ideas?

You might find you get more response from the US cachers as they same to love the GPSiii and there dont seem to be that many users of it in the UK.
