Guest HunterGatherer
Just wondering how you guys are pronouncing the word Geocaching... for the record, I've gone for the Bastardised New zealand version of "Geokay-shing" Quote Link to comment
Guest Adman
From the Geocaching.com faq's: How do you pronounce Geocaching? You pronounce it Geo-cashing, like cashing a check. I personally use the bastardised NZ version of "Geokay-shing" Cheers Adam Quote Link to comment
Guest rediguana
I'm kaysh too. Pronouncing it cash just doesn't sound right While we're on this topic, let me broach routing - the navigational kind. Are you a rooter or a rout-er. These two words, along with lyn-ix (vs line-ucks) are my major indiscretions of the english language All three I believe come from my time in IT. Cheers Gav Quote Link to comment

Guest peejay
Hmm, kay-shing lyn-ix and definitely rout-er. Rooter is sooo non-kiwi :-) Quote Link to comment
Guest tgsnoopy
Kay-shing, rout-er, and line-ucks here, I just don't think Lyn-ix is right for a kiwi. Quote Link to comment
