I can bring a travel bug from the U.S. Can anyone recommend a cache in the Christchurch area, preferably reachable without a car? Quote

Urban caches is something that Christchurch does not have a lot of. The only ones I have seen are microcaches (35mm film canisters) that will not fit a travel bug in them with the log book as well (see rediguana's Spy Break series) The one I would sugest is Kennedy's Quarry (ID=12288) which is reachable by the number 7 bus (you can see a bus route map here http://www.ecan.govt.nz/Buses-Transport/routes/7_r.htm - The cache site is at the bottom left) Good luck and I hope you enjoy your trip.
