Why do some caches now show up as exclamation points on the map?

The exclamation point on the map indicates that there is a log in draft form.

 

Sometimes the draft status is not reset for a cache, if you don't create the log from the draft. That seems to be a bug. So far, such problems could always be solved by generating a new draft for the cache and deleting it.

I got the bug today.  I made 3 "Found It" Drafts on The Official App, typed and submitted the logs on the web site, and the Drafts list is empty as expected.  The logs are on the caches.  But there were exclamation point [!] icons on the map and in the Search page on 2 of the 3 caches I logged.  So the search page showed "Last Found" last week, the last time the caches were logged, not today. 

 

I didn't try the App trick.  The site caught up with the logs in about 30 minutes.  Now the caches show "Found".
