+lee737
Yep - a bison in a tree..... I was at a mates and he told me he and his daughter had done some, I had actually heard about it 3-4 years previously, but my son was very young, but I remember thinking then it sounded great for when he got older. We found the bison, loved it, found 20 more, then had a slump for several months..... then got cracking again and haven't stopped since.... 1 Quote Link to comment
+DARKSIDEDAN
My first geocache find was an Ammo Can on the Side of a Mountain. I didnt know anything about Goecaching at the time. I was 3 guys huddled around this Ammo Can and I though "Oh that has to be Drugs or Money in there". I made the decision to take whatever they were hiding. To my surprize it was a geocache. Seven year later Im hooked. Quote Link to comment

+barefootjeff
I read an article about geocaching in Wild magazine. Years before one of my bushwalking friends had mentioned it but I hadn't paid much attention, but the article piqued my interest enough to sign up on the website where I saw there was a cache in a nearby park. The satellite image and hint was enough for me to figure out it was at the base of a floodlight pole so I wandered over and found it, a 35mm film canister. Three days later the CO archived it, saying "I'm not happy with this cache and have been having a lot of trouble with the cache container" but I hope it wasn't my fault. 1 Quote Link to comment
