+Muggle Finder
I am interested in trying some puzzle caches, but don't really know where to start with them. Are there some puzzle caches that you would recommend as starters, which would hopefully teach me how to approach the harder ones? CARDA 186 Quote Link to comment
+ErSamin
Though you posted in the West / Southwest forum, you do not state your approximate location. If you are in the Sacramento area, I could probably think of a few multi/puzzle caches. "Could be worse...could be raining" Quote Link to comment

+TeamJiffy
CARDA186 - Your’s is a very fair question, but I am not sure I can give a good answer. Each puzzle is so very different in its theme that one doesn’t tend to help you solve another. There are a few exceptions. In the south bay, cryptography has been a bit of a theme, thanks to “The Rat” and I can suggest an ordering of his (and a few other caches) that is useful. I’d suggest that you do these in the order listed... Cipher Sites Cipher Creek Clip Joint K3 Gang fizzymagic has also done another theme, with math and trig. I'd suggest this order: IQ Test IQ Test #2 Magic Trig After that, try The Golden Number by hotfoot which is also math-based. Any of kablooey’s or lamneth’s puzzles are both excellent and stand-alone. PhilippeGPS is also starting his own series of puzzles. And finally, you may also want to try our puzzles (Krab Louie, Magic Squares, Lumber Room of Your Library). -TeamJiffy Quote Link to comment
+bunthorne
If you are in the San Diego area, try some of mine. I call them story caches because you have to gleen clues from the story to find the cache. The Lost Cache of King Geepius King Geepius and the Giant Toothache Who Shot Charles Highbrow?
