Tallahassee Area Geocachers First Meeting

We finally got together. Unfortunately, Nightcrawlers from The Florida Geocacheing Association, could not make it. We had a good turnout, about 20 I think. We even had people come over from Panama City. I think we all enjoyed meeting each other and putting faces together with the names we see so often on the site. It was great to see such interest in the sport.

 

After introductions we agreed to have meetings once a quarter. We are tentatively planning the next one for the last Sunday in August at 2 pm. Watch for more information as the time approaches.

 

We will call ourselves TAG-Tallahassee Area Geocachers ("Tag, you're It! You are the search engine!") We plan on setting up a web-site. I will e-mail everyone when we get it set up. We would like to be associated with the Florida Geocacheing Association.

 

If anyone has any ideas for the next meeting, please feel free to contact me at david1959@juno.com. I will be sending out an e-mail list to everyone who attended. If you want to be added to this list, e-mail me at the address above. If you have anything you would like to send out to the group you may e-mail me and I can send it out in a broadcast e-mail. Please check these forums periodically for other discussions and start some of your own.
