+VentureForth Posted June 28, 2002 Share Posted June 28, 2002 I have received a couple emails about the Breakfast, from people thinking that it was either yesterday (the 27th) or tomorrow (Saturday). Allow me to clarify that the NTGA Breakfast Bash, described here: NTGA Breakfast Bash will be taking place on JULY 28th of this year. That's about 29 days from now. Plenty of time to book your airfare, plan your wardrobe, arrange for lodging, etc. Or at least put $2 a week away into a little shoe box (Ammobox, decon kit, tupperware, etc) under your bed for the next 4 weeks to save up the money to go. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm taking off to Colorado next week for vacation, and much of tomorrow will be with my Grandma in Oklahoma City. I wouldn't mind having breakfast there tomorrow, but I think it would be too much to ask of my geocaching brethren & brethrenettes to drive that far.... 'Cides, it's kinduva personal thing. My 85 year old grandmother just can't cook for 40+ hungry geocachers like she used to. I'm sure you understand. Don't get me wrong. I love you folks, but I'll wait 'til July to visit with you guys. Heh heh heh... Back to a smidgen of reality: We look forward to being there next month, and meeting some of you guys and dolls again and some of y'all for the first time. For some of you Western metroplexers, this may be a good opportunity to see trees, lakes, and rivers. For me, it will be a good opportunity to see US-75 Saturday morning traffic. And in case you're wondering, this ain't in my back yard. I still have to drive 30 minutes to get there. However, it IS in bobcachette's backyard. So bring the family, bring the ham radios, FRS, GPS, CBS, NBC, and other gizmos or kids you have to show off. We're gonna have a blast! VentureForth --------------- Go!
