Map Heading While Driving

In the app settings, there is a choice/switch to "Keep map north up"

I have turned that switch OFF but my map still displays MAP NORTH UP.  

Is this a bug or am I missing something.  I want my direction of travel to always show UP to match my GPSr in my cachemobile.
