Multi selecting events in EARWIGO

I want to add a new If then else statement to a series of events that already contains other if then else statements. I want the exiting ones to occur inside the new one. I'm using EARWIGO but it will not allow me the option to move any if else or endif statements to be inside the new one. There is an option to multi select or select all events within a statement but I don't understand how to use that move the whole if then else set of statements to be inside the new one. The only way I can currently see of doing this involves moving each event individuals and creating new if then else statements. Anyone got an bright ideas how to do this?

Yes, but where you have already have created the nested If Else. I could start again without any problems other than having to do it for lots of zones but I want to avoid rewriting all the events but instead move the original If Else inside a new one without having to delete and rewrite the original one. The multi select option looks like it might be the solution but I can't get it to multi move anything so I don't understand how it works or what redraw does.

Are you talking about the copy - paste mechanism? If this is the case, I understand better now.

If you want to run the same piece of code for multiple zones, couldn't you achieve this by putting up a function?

Or you'll have to write some author lua code.

If you ask this in the Earwigo support Google group, it might have a solution. (It's about 8 years since I wrote this code and I don't remember what is and isn't possible, but the Earwigo power users will know!).

sTeamTraen sent you a link when you applied to earwigo access (among a lot of other informations)... I just sent it to you again (have a look to your Private Messages).
