5AlbrightCachers
Hi All, my family is looking for recommendations for an awesome cache to commemorate our 100th find. My kids are 9 and 11 and they'd like to drop a couple TBs in our #100. I know that many of the caches in the mountains won't be (easily) accesible for a while still, but we're open to some pretty good challenges terrain-wise. My kids compete in orienteering, it's like cross country running but using a map and compass to find checkpoints throughout the race. So they're in great shape and not daunted by mud, creek crossings, steep grades, etc. We're open to urban and remote locations, and are just hoping to find something unique to do - cool destination like a waterfall, amazing view of nature or architecture, neat historical aspect, etc. I know special/unique means very different things to different people, so we'll appreciate any and all suggestions. THANKS in advance! Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
Have you been to Headquarters yet? That might be a fun milestone for the kids. Quote Link to comment
5AlbrightCachers
I don't think we have, didn't find it right off from a search, do you have the gc for it? Thx! Quote Link to comment

5AlbrightCachers
Well LOL, I guess you can tell we're not very far into our caching career, and not very plugged in to the scene / community yet. We had no idea the HQ existed. Thanks for the info, we'll have to make ti.e to get up there during the week. Still hoping for other suggestions too! Quote Link to comment
5AlbrightCachers
Thanks for the Headquarters recommendation, we made the visit today. Bought our 100th find commemorative coin and did the HQ Geo Tour around Freemont. The kids had a blast, and we got it done before the rain started. A great day! Quote Link to comment
