Wherigo Search not working iPad: AccessToken not valid

When I touch the Search tab in Wherigo 1.5.4 v341, I get "Error talking to GC" and "Groundspeak API Error. The access token provided is not valid."

I'm using iPad Pro 10.5, iOS 10.3.3 and also iPad 3, iOS 9.3.5. On both devices I have previously downloaded cartridges, so it worked at some time in the past. The first error message has a ">" link. If I touch it, the app crashes. I am signed in to Wherigo.com in Safari on the device. Search works fine on my iPhone 6S, iOS 10.3.3.

Any help would be appreciated. I am a premium member of Geocaching.com.
