Using ~~variable~~

Recommended Posts

I am trying to create my first Wherigo cartridge.  When I try using the ~~ to display the value of a variable to the player I get a "LUA RUNTIME ERROR the cartridge has been stopped"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have resolved this problem. :)

Thanks for the replies. :)

It looks like you're using earwigo. Correct?

You should try to say a little bit more: what is the name of the variable, where do you try to display its value (event, dialogue, message, action?), what is the code you wrote (if in earwigo, a screenshot could be useful)?

Cheers.

I saw your screenshots before you removed them.

In earwigo, you should use ~~var_yourvarname~~ and not just ~~yourvarname~~.

Too bad you deleted your question. I'm sure a lot of us could benefit of others' questions.
