+Ah!
I am trying to create my first Wherigo cartridge. When I try using the ~~ to display the value of a variable to the player I get a "LUA RUNTIME ERROR the cartridge has been stopped" Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ah! I have resolved this problem. Thanks for the replies. I'll be back!! It is better to have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned. +Tungstène
It looks like you're using earwigo. Correct? You should try to say a little bit more: what is the name of the variable, where do you try to display its value (event, dialogue, message, action?), what is the code you wrote (if in earwigo, a screenshot could be useful)? Cheers. Quote Link to comment
+Tungstène
I saw your screenshots before you removed them. In earwigo, you should use ~~var_yourvarname~~ and not just ~~yourvarname~~. Reference 1: http://www.earwigo.net/WWB/wiki/doku.php?id=var_prefix Reference 2: http://www.earwigo.net/WWB/wiki/doku.php?id=tips_and_tricks#how_do_i_show_a_value_to_the_player Too bad you deleted your question. I'm sure a lot of us could benefit of others' questions. Quote Link to comment
