+Birdguise
I would like to save a Wherigo cache as some are long. And then come back later without starting over. How do I save it using an Oregon 400 GPS? Rett Quote Link to comment
Ranger Fox
Cartridges are saved two ways: through exiting the cartridge (there's a dialog to save) and along the way through the cartridge author's use of the save command. So, for your question, you'll need to quit the cartridge and select the option to save your progress. That said, saving a game doesn't work for every cartridge. This is due to how saving state works, what gets saved, and how the game is restored. If the cartridge is a simple one, it can be restored. If you'd like to test this, try going to the first location in the cartridge, complete what's there, walk a short distance away, exit the cartridge (selecting to save), load the cartridge again, and see if it's how you left it. If you have to visit that first location again, you can't save your progress. However, chances are good you can. 1 Quote Link to comment

I will follow your suggestion & do 1 stage & try to save, Quote Link to comment
