+alain4s Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 When I sent private messages, GC codes are replaced by unrelated coord.info links. GCAD4D1 1 Quote
+baer2006 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I just got "bitten" by this bug. Someone asked me for links to interesting caches, I sent two GC codes (typed into the message as GC codes only, i.e. no URLs) ... and later we found out, that the message was totally screwed up . The text showed the same GC code in all places, and the (auto-generated) links all pointed to a different cache. Are cachers supposed to actually talk about geocaching when using the Message Center? If so, fixing this bug would be a great idea . Thank you! 1 Quote
+TupeJaPete Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Yep, noticed exactly the same thing here. I sent a list of 32 geocaches to a friend formatted like this: GCXXXXX Name of the Cache1 GCYYYYY Name of the Cache2 GCZZZZZ Name of the Cache3 etc. After sending the message the GC codes got completely messed up. GC codes were now completely in different order and the auto-generated links pointed to yet again different caches. Now the list would be, for example, like this: GCZZZZZ Name of the Cache1 GCXXXXX Name of the Cache2 GCYYYYY Name of the Cache3 This of course caused a lot of confusion. Please fix this! Quote
