randomactsofkindness
So, I submitted my first cache for review a week ago now, and have not had it reviewed yet. How long does it usually take? I wouldn't have thought it would be quite so long, though I do understand it is done by volunteer. But are there caches that get overlooked? Quote Link to comment
+niraD
I am not a volunteer reviewer, so I can't see what's actually going on with your cache listing. But a common issue is that the listing isn't actually submitted for review. Another common issue is that the volunteer reviewer posted questions/concerns, but the owner didn't notice/respond to the reviewer, and so the listing just sits there. For reference, see the Help Center article Cache review process. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Hello, I looked at your cache page and I see that you properly submitted it for review on July 28th. There are at least two listing guideline issues which prevent swift publication of your cache. I am sure that the area reviewer will be along to explain them to you soon. Sometimes, reviewers publish the caches with no issues quickly, and it may take a bit longer to get back to owners of caches that need work before they can be published. Thank you. Any way you can point me in the right direction for what I goofed up on? Or should I just wait some more...? Edited August 3, 2017 by randomactsofkindness More thoughts.
