Issue with Opening Cache Page from Email

My issue results when I open a cache from an email notification.  I am already logged into the geocaching website.  When I click on the cache name, I am taken to the cache page but I am now not logged in, so I can't get all the cache details.  When I choose "Login", I am taken back to the geocaching home page and not to the geocache info.  I then have to search for the geocache to find the info.  I am working on a Macbook Air using OS Yosemite 10.10.5. I am using Safari 10.10.1.  This issue is not cache specific and has been ongoing.
