+lancs-sue
For some reason my Garmin 62st has decided to stop loading half way through. I have checked the SD card is inserted as I have had this problem before. I have plugged it into my laptop to install an update and it still stops loading at the same time. I have used 2 different leads but with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? Quote Link to comment

If a GPS stops loading caches it might be because of bad code in the GPX, try to find which cache triggers this so you can skip it. Also, you don't mention how you are getting data to your GPS. More info is needed. What is loading when booting stops? maps/caches? Quote Link to comment

+on4bam
Have you tried a Garmin GPSMAP 62s Factory Reset I would save that as a LAST resort. For all we know there's a simple solution that doesn't warrant a factory reset. Quote Link to comment

+lancs-sue
I have now removed the SD card and managed to install the update. I usually load caches using GSAK but was trying to load the caches from geo caching site. Quote Link to comment
