+MountainWoods
I just got notice that someone had visited my Waymark of the Oak Hill Apostolic Faith Church (disbanded) near Eagle Rock, Missouri; but their photos were from somewhere out west (where the giant M on a mountainside is located -- I've forgotten where). Their post was in french and had nothing to do with the waymark. As much as I like real visits to my Waymarks, I didn't appreciate this fake one, so it is gone now. I wonder if someone discovered Waymarking (perhaps through the discussion on Waymarking in the Geocachine forum?) and decided to rack up a bunch of fake visits. Anyone else getting these? Anyone else getting these? Maybe for some reason they thought you were OK with Armchair Waymarking? Quote Link to comment
+MountainWoods
That hasn't passed peer review yet! But seriously, was this just a one-off goof by someone typing in the wrong WM code and not bothering to check, or something? Or are y'all getting the same kinds of spam visits? Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
Looks like someone grabbed the wrong waymark. Occasionally someone will log a bunch of waymarks but nothing like the bots that logged caches. Edited October 6, 2015 by BruceS Quote Link to comment
