Geocaching to be featured in The Bergen Record on 12/22/02 . . .

Just a heads up that a feature article on Geocaching in North Jersey is scheduled for publication in the Sunday edition of the Bergen Record on 12/22/02. The reporter who wrote the story, Elise Young, has advised me that the story's status may change due to the editors declaring something else "more newsworthy".

Team Magster will deservedly be featured prominently in the article. Since the reporter and photog accompanied me on a cache hunt as well, there also may be mention of my embarrassingly, unsuccessful hunt for Bassoonpilot's Preakness Mtn cache. Particularly embarrasing because just a few weeks after I failed to find it (with the photographer snapping away as if I were Madonna at a movie premier), a first time geocacher found it, without using a GPS!

 

Must have been the pressure.

I didnt seem this page before posting. And I did look too. (I only looked halfway down the page since I was looking for a thread about the article itself. I didn't think anyone posted anything last week, since I was supposed to be given a heads up by the writer. But no big deal.
