+Pepparkotte Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Hi, I'm on Kökar island in Åland and I've found two caches, of which the other one (Rural Museum) is in a bad shape. It is really wet inside and the original logbook is destroyed. How can I get in touch with the geocacher who's in charge of this box? Quote
Pup Patrol Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) Hi, I'm on Kökar island in Åland and I've found two caches, of which the other one (Rural Museum) is in a bad shape. It is really wet inside and the original logbook is destroyed. How can I get in touch with the geocacher who's in charge of this box? I would post a "needs maintenance" log, but some people don't. 1.) Under the cache name is the cache owner's name. Click that link to be taken to their profile page. Click on either " Message Center: Send Message" or "E-Mail Address: Send Email". Help Center → My Account → More Site Functionality 3.13. Find and Contact another Player http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=143 2.) Post a "needs maintenance" log in addition to the "found it" log. The cache owner will receive that email. And it will advise other people that there is a problem with the cache before they seek it out. Help Center → Finding a Geocache → Finding a Geocache 3.6. I found a geocache that needs maintenance http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=551 Help Center → Finding a Geocache → Logging a Geocache 4.2. What log type should I use? http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=534 B. Edited April 29, 2015 by Pup Patrol Quote
