Can I test run my cartridge from any zone with Webwigo?

Hi, can anyone tell me if I can skip to problem areas of my cartridge without having to run through the whole thing every time I want to try out a change? Thanks!

It's not possible to skip ahead without modifying your cartridge. The reason for this is because some things in a cartridge can affect later things. For example, you could ask a question in the first zone, then use that answer five zones later to alter the player's path through the game.

 

I do have a suggestion for you. If your cartridge is linear, edit your cartridge so the zone where the trouble occurs is active and visible. This will let you skip ahead.

 

In one of my cartridges, I run a test for if I was the one to download the cartridge. If this is the case, the cartridge puts an administration item within my inventory. This lets me test various things in the cartridge even if I download it directly from Wherigo.com. That's a little more complicated than what I think you're after, but I mention this to illustrate there are several ways you can test cartridges. This way lets you set up a ton of tests you can run in the field.
