how do i find a list of events close to my location

I've looked all over for about 30 minutes. I'd like to know if there is anyway to search for events being held close to my current location.

 

I'm looking for any events close to Mulberry, FL 33860. Trying to get the souvenir and I'd like to branch out and meet some people in the geocaching community.

Okay, thanks a bunch. Maybe myself and the friend I cache with will have to host a few events around us! Love this community, so helpful I'm glad I found the forum.

Thank you Pub Patrol! I used those links you gave me and I found a event about an hour away on the 30th of August! I noticed a bunch of people in my area are going to attend! You are the best thanks again!

I know a lot of events in my province were set up for the 7 Souvenirs of August. Some of them are on the 30th or 31st and are named "Last Chance".

 

If nothing else, you could host a Flash Mob event.
