erik.braziunas
Hey, I'm new to geocaching. Looking to go out with some people in the Seattle area who have some more experience. Did a little looking around on the geocaching HQ facebook page and forum here but couldn't find any groups. I figured there would be lots considering Groundspeak is based here in Seattle. Anyway, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Erik Quote Link to comment
+Touchstone
This is probably a good place to start: Event Calender Another resource, although I'm not sure how up to date it is: Geocaching Organizations in the Northwest Quote Link to comment
+JesandTodd
Here's our FB page, cachers of puget sound https://www.facebook.com/groups/317549528315995/ Welcome! I'd recommend you do the HQ geotour, any caches on cougar mountain in issaquah, and anything by dayspring or goblindust. Edited June 28, 2014 by JesandTodd Quote Link to comment
erik.braziunas
Hey thanks guys. This was exactly what I was looking for. I just joined the facebook group and will be checking out the WA geocaching website. Also looking forward to the block party. The HQ geotour sounds cool. Is that something you pay to go on or just a series of caches to do on your own? Erik Quote Link to comment
+JesandTodd
You just do them on your own. If you wait until the block party (they are all in Fremont) then you will do them with 1 zillion other people. That's how we did them, and it was fun. But the caches are great so I with I had done them prior Quote Link to comment
