+Quite
Hi, I am very new to geocaching (8 finds). The kids and I are using the Groundspeak app on a ipad which has gps. I just signed up as a premium member to see what it is all about. I've run a couple of pocket queries with 50 results, but can't get them into the app. The app has a"pocket queries" button which claims I have no pocket queries and to go and set up my profile. Ive been all over my profile page but can't see what needs to be done. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
+niraD
There are three steps to using a pocket query on your device: Create the PQ - specify the search criteria Run the PQ - specify the day(s) you want the server to use the search criteria to produce a set of cache data Download the PQ - copy the cache data to your device. It sounds like you've missed the "Run the PQ" step. Here's some more info that may be helpful: How do I use Pocket Queries? +L0ne.R
Which app do you have - the free app or the $10 app? Quote Link to comment
+Quite
Hi, I'm running the $10 version of the app. Thanks for the links to articles. It seems that my searches hadn't moved over to "ready to download" yet. I changed the date for the search, they showed up, and I was able to download! What was/is confusing is that the "My Finds" list was already in the download section but the app can't see it. Oh, well. Got the list, making headway! Now to do some caching before the storm hits on Wednesday. Quote Link to comment
