+boxerlady Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 i have not updated my cache stats for several months so after caching today we ran our query and the file comes in as a gpx file and my MAC says it can't open the file, says the file is not supported.....has something changed with the site, before the files came in as loc and I had no problems uploading them to mygeocachingprofile.com.....help....any suggestions????? When did you last run/download your My Finds PQ? I've never seen it come as a .loc - always a .gpx. Am I misunderstanding your question? Quote Link to comment

It sounds like you were trying to open the file and your Mac does not have a program installed that can handle it. Of course, I know nothing about Macs, but this should be common between any operating system. You are simply using your computer as a transfer point between the two websites. A LOC file has very limited information compared to a GPX and I imagine that a lot of stats will be missing. Edited March 16, 2014 by Don_J Quote Link to comment
