Guest Choberiba
I'm too far away to head there myself.. So I'm just going to stand here and snipe a guess from the sidelines. It's a trophy from a bass tournement on Lake Loramie in Shelby county? Quote Link to comment

Hmmm... well, I can say that it's not related to marine life in any way - and, the container is actually a big empty 'Diet Fuel' pill bottle. So, no, it's probably not a trophy bass. Guest Choberiba
It's been over a dozen years since I last set foot in Ohio. There were no where near as many geocaches back then. I miss the food. Californians just don't know how to cook. Do people actually geocache in the winter there? :::shudder::: It's not like it snows as much as some places, but I remember all too well having to grab a jacket just to check the mail. I can't imagine going out in the woods for fun in February... Quote Link to comment
Guest McIrish
[/b] Californians just don't know how to cook. Choberiba!!! I can't believe the stereotyping!! We cook healthy out here...LOL. Quote Link to comment
Guest Rubbertoe
Nobody looking for it yet? I'll go snatch it back up in a week or so if nobody nabs it. Might just place the goody inside into another geocache that I find. (see coordinates in my first post) Quote Link to comment

Rubbertoe
I never did bother to go back and see if someone nabbed it or not. It's been a long time - I'll have to wander by there soon if I don't hear anything from anybody. Rubbertoe ToeCam: http://www.bigfoot.com/~rbatina/webcam Quote Link to comment
+Jacksons
I LOOKED TONIGHT FOR A LITTLE WHILE IN RAIN,BUT COORDS END UP IN A TRASH PILE. WONDER IF ITS STILL THERE? I DIDNT FIND IT Quote Link to comment
Rubbertoe
I finally went back to check on this one... it is very gone. It was a digital watch that I had sealed in a Diet Fuel bottle - along with instructions that said "When Found Please e-Mail Me!" along with my address and other information. Looks like whoever found it might not have been a geocacher... cuz I sure didn't hear anything from anyone. Another reason to stick with listed "normal" geocaches. I had good intentions, but made a few people look for a cache that ended up not being there. Sorry 'bout that. I kinda like the idea of 'single-use' caches, but that would be a burden on the system and the administrators. No sense in doing a lot of work for a cache that only one person will get the pleasure of finding. Are there any sites like that? Single-use caches that is more like a real treasure hunt? First one there gets the booty. - Toe. --==< Rubbertoe's WEBCAM >==-- Quote Link to comment
Rubbertoe
There was a big pile of broken concrete there when I originally hid the cache. It had grass growing in and around it, so I assumed that location would be free from disturbance for a while. The concrete pile has been replaced by a pile of trash and mud, pretty much. There is also 1/2 of a modular home which appears to have been abandoned there at the end of the road. The windows have been broken out and it looks as if someone has used the bathroom, which is visible from the outside. I didn't go close enough to really investigate... there very well could have been someone or something in there. - Toe. --==< Rubbertoe's WEBCAM >==-- Quote Link to comment
