GawrshImGoofy
Hello, I don't know if this is where I need to post this or not but I figured its a good place to start ... I'm visiting some friends in May and I was wondering if anyone would like to get together and hunt for some caches with me ... I will be in the Milton Keynes area from 27 May to 1 june. The best dates for me to go out would be the 27th - 29th. Also if you are from the area and know of nearby event could you let me know? I have looked at the event page but there isn't much there for my dates yet :/. -Jana- Quote Link to comment
speakers-corner
How are you traveling, by car. If so do the virtual at the port in France. Its very easy to find. Quote Link to comment
GawrshImGoofy
No, lol I think I would have a panic attack if I tried to drive in the UK . I will be flying in and my friend will be picking me up. Are there any caches in England that are absolutely worth a trip to? Quote Link to comment
GawrshImGoofy
By a must find I meant a cache that is going to take me some place beautiful or one that is crazy and unique.... Something special I guess? I do have a Garmin, thank you so much for the sites I will look Quote Link to comment
metal-bijou
There's a great facebook group in the Milton Keynes area and they are very active with monthly caching events often leading to night caching. The group is called "Beds, Bucks & Herts Geocachers" Quote Link to comment
speakers-corner
Try These 3. They are not far from Aylesbury, about 20 miles - 40 minutes from Milton Keynes. GC2AA4, GC171 and GC164F. All were placed in 2001. Quote Link to comment

Simply Paul
Don't forget GC177 (England's 2nd oldest/UK's 3rd oldest) and the cache it leads to, which is the UK's oldest Puzzle cache (will be replaced before May) - well worth a visit from MK as it - and Ivinghoe Beacon near by - are very pretty areas. Here's a list of high-rated caches in the area. Have a great trip! Quote Link to comment
