+norfair86
I'm new to GPS receivers, so this is a total noob question. I got a Garmin etrex 10 for Christmas, and I have had fun figuring out how to use it and upload geocaches to it. I've found a few caches with it, and I use the GPSr to log the cache as "found". The problem is, I haven't been able to figure out how to then send the logs to geocaching.com to log my finds. Previously, I had been using the app on my iPhone, but I am at a loss for what to do for the Garmin. Am I missing something? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
Dedicated GPS's don't automatically log your finds at geocaching.com. You'll have to do that manually on the website or the app. You can use Field Notes to get a list of the caches you've found (or didn't find), but from the field notes page, you still have to create the actual log. Field Notes just makes it easier to log you caches because you don't have to go searching for each one on the site. Quote Link to comment
