+Hillster Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 Hi there after posting a blog before that I could no longer download cache info into my GPS (Magellan Explorist 510)I took some advice and downloaded Firefox. Made Firefox my internet browser and it now works. Apparently when you upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 the Internet Explorer updates as well. As a result, some programs do not work. I sent a message to geocaching.com and received a very quick reply from Annika as did another cacher luivvinbird. I was advised to try a few things that did not work. However, they told me that if it did not work then download either Google Chrome or Firefox. I chose Firefox and it worked straight away. Very please I have the capacity of downloading caches again. Thank you Annika from geocaching.com and luvvinbird for your assistance. Hope this helps others. Perhaps I might see some of you in the field.
