penumbra59 Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Hi All I do have a question about the enigma geocoins. It seams that there are 2 enigma geocoin designs but they both use the name: enigma geocoin. On one site i saw that there was an enigma1 geocoin but that's about it. can anyone specify the name for these enigma designs please ? and the second version : Thanks in advance Quote

penumbra59 Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Hi, no I just like to know how both enigma geocoin designs above are named. As I'm setting up a list of geocoins and I would like to exclude all confusion about the enigma designs. Thanks Quote

drneal Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 some coin collectors on cointracking suggest the first coin was minted in 2007, the second in 2010 (the coin with the markings "enigma the machine" ILYK Quote
imoutnabout Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 If the coins are UNactivated, you can enter the tracking numbers here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/ and you'll get the 'official' coin name. If they ARE activated, the name can be edited, so that won't help. Quote
penumbra59 Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Thanks for that info, I never tried that. thought that it only worked for activated coins. Stupid me Quote
Ogima Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 If the coins are UNactivated, you can enter the tracking numbers here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/ and you'll get the 'official' coin name. If they ARE activated, the name can be edited, so that won't help. If the coins are activated, you can still see the 'official' name, at least in Google Chrome. The original name is on the tab header. If the name is too long for the header, just place the mouse pointer over the header and you will see the whole name. For other browsers this might be different. Quote
