Good Geocoin Database

I am still pretty new with this.

 

Is there a really good website out there that catalogues and talks about various geocoins. I have seem some random blogs and these forums are great. I would really like to have a site that highlights different coins but couldn't find any.

GeocoinTrader.net is a site that I recently released that is a crowd sourced database of geocoins. It's definitely a growing project, but definitely check it out and make an account.

As you can imagine building such a database would be extremely labour intensive. Coins are produced by myriad different sources and by hundreds of individuals. Gathering up the information on what's been produced alone is a monumental task. And adding insult to injury there's no renumeration for such a herculean feat. Many have tried and come up short 'coz it's just too big a job.

I don't participate in the actual databases but have also seen the growing efforts to create one at Secret Society of Coin Addicts (SSoCA) and also recently spotted a Beta db at Podcachers.
