gmb501
I am thinking about as a service project, having our Cub Scouts set up geocaches for each rank and then be responsible for maintaining them. Would it be appropriate to put a label inside the lid of the cache saying who placed the cache? I was thinking about the label saying something like: THIS CACHE IS PLACED BY THE TIGER CUBS OF PACK XX AT XXXXXXXXXX CHURCH CITY, STATE My though was the boys would get a kick out of seeing their pack number and rank in the cache they went to it in the future but I don't want to violate the rules it appearing to be a commercial commercial cache promoting scouting or our sponsor church. Any thoughts? thanks in advance... Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
That should not be a problem in the physical cache - just a statement of fact. The commercial guideline is geared much more toward using the website, cache listing page to promote a group or business. Watch how you word the listing and it should be ok. Quote Link to comment
+stijnhommes
It shouldn't be a problem. In fact having contact information on the cache is a good idea in case it is found by accident or if someone finds there is a problem with the cache while on site. Quote Link to comment
