smythley
My 12 year old daughter and I are just getting started geocaching. We went out a couple weeks ago, and found 2 out of the 4 caches we looked for. I am curious about the best way to plan a geocaching trip. Is there a way to find a list of cahces that are all relatively close together? For example, all in one park or on a walking trail. Just would like to map out 5-6 and head out from one to the other. We are in the Lynchburg, VA area, and would appreciate any help or ideas you guys could give us. Thanks! Quote Link to comment

+baack40
Type in on the front page your town and state. When the list comes up go to the top of that list on the right side and click Map this location. then you can see where they all are. Run your mouse over the caches and it will give you the names of them. Most of the time if you click on them a box will pop up that you can click on the name of the cache and it will bring up the cache page. Sometimes this doesn't work but most of the time it does. Or you can run your mouse over the cache and left click and it will bring up that box. Best way I know how to explain it. Quote Link to comment
