How are favorites obtained?

I have one favorite point it seems, not sure how I got it or how I go about getting more. I checked the forums but I don't see the question posted and don't want to sort through tons of unrelated posts.

 

Do you get them for finding harder finds or just finding finds?

You receive a favorite point for every 10 finds after upgrading to premium membership.
