+trevorh7000
Dear fellow cachers and bikers I am wanting to put together a event cache consisting of a bike (motorcycle) ride. But I want to guage how many people would be interested in the ride part - any street legal two wheeler welcome. I want to see if there is any interest. The ride would end at a cool place for a nice lunch - picnic or restaurant and all would be welcome to get their in their cages and meet at this point But I want to know what kind of bike you have so I can plan a route accordingly - ie big bike or small bike/scooter Also if you can take a pillion and would offer the spot to a cacher please mention this. Will be a Sunday morning in Jan or Feb. Trev Quote Link to comment
MnCo
Sounds like a great idea. Alas, I've been bikless for some years now.... I wonder what it costs to hire a bike for the day... hmmmmmm Edited December 22, 2012 by MnCo Quote Link to comment
+Carbon Hunter
Sounds fun - we used to do an annual event of a similar nature when I was a Scout in the 80's Quote Link to comment
+DamhuisClan
If I could I would join. Geo936 organised the BR series (Breakfast Run) and then had a bike run from start to finish of about 30 to 40 km. Loads of fun and well attended by both bikers and cagers. I am thinking of a challenge up here: 6 Provinces in 6 hours. Want to do that on the bike. Quote Link to comment

The idea is to have an event at the start and finish. Quote Link to comment

The idea is to have an event at the start and finish. That will be epic - do you have a idea for a route. Lets assume we won't "cheat" and have special caches placed to make the feat more convenient. But with bikes that will mean a lot of riding and staying awake - in cars you can swap drivers - well technically if each bike had a pillion you could swap bikers! Trev Quote Link to comment
Trackinfind
We're keen! One big bike & a scooter but kids might ride with so no space for extras. Quote Link to comment
