T.D.M.22
Groundspeak has followed up an email. Thanks, much appreciated. And the A-team was correct. Edited November 15, 2012 by T.D.M.22 Quote Link to comment
The A-Team
SO it says that the new MineLab promotion is open to Canadian residents. Yet on the request form there is no spot for Canada, just the USA only. Misleading and poorly-thought-out wording, methinks. The contest is open to Canadian residents, but I couldn't find anything that states who can request a coin. The contest rules would seem to imply that since Canadians can enter the contest, and they don't say Canadians can't request a coin, that we should be able to. However, the form seems to imply that Canadians cannot request a coin. Another thing to consider, from the summary page: Introducing the "Ultimate Geocaching Hunt", where participants compete to win by snapping the most creative photos of special hidden coins in caches throughout the United States of America and Canada. How will they be "hidden throughout Canada" if they can't even be requested by any Canadians? Are they just hoping a few coins will migrate across the border? Quote Link to comment
T.D.M.22
So it's kinda like saying a Canadian can win a lottery draw in the US but Canadians can't buy the tickets....Well Groundspeak still hasn't answered to email |I sent so I;m thinking you're right. Quote Link to comment
The A-Team
Groundspeak still hasn't answered to email... If you sent it around the time you posted here, they got it late in the working day. You'll probably get a response tomorrow or Friday. Quote Link to comment
LutherNation
Hi T.D.M.22 and The A-Team, The A-Team was right about the timing, and we just followed-up with T.D.M.22. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Quote Link to comment
