+ARTnBARB
I have a Garmin Colorado 450T that has caches stored on the unit. I am unable to remove the caches because I do not have the computer or the computer file that created the file and wrote it to the GPS. I understand that there is no way to delete files from the GPS end. I understand how to delete it if I have the original file on my computer, but I don't have it. Any clues would be appreciated. Do you have an Oregon 450T, or a Colorado 400? Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Procedure is the same. You can connect it by USB to any Windows, OS X, or Linux machine. It will show up as an external drive. Using your favorite file browser, go to that device, into \GARMIN\GPX. There should be some gpx files in there. If there's more than one, you need to figure out which one you want to delete. I recommend copying it to your computer first before deleting. A GPX file can contain anywhere from 1 to thousands of geocaches. Actually, it may not even contain geocaches - it may be a tracklog.
