omayzing
We recently started Geocaching with our twins and are in need of a second backpack. This pack would be used to carry our toddler so it would need to accomodate up to 35 or 40 lbs...or something close. Quote Link to comment
+Desert_Warrior
Then I saw you were wanting to carry a KID in it. There are lots of good kid carriers out there, safe and approved. I would, at least in this day and age, hesitate to recommend to anyone something not approved for this intended use. If spilled hot coffee is worth a few million, what is a spilled kid worth? Respectfully, reconsider this idea. Safety above all else... you could be found at fault if your kid is hurt, and child protective services gets wind that you were not using an approved carrier. JMHO. YMMV. Good luck in your decision. Mike. KD9KC. El Paso, Texas. Seventeen minutes after her FIRST call for help, police officers arrived to find Ronyale White dead. Prohibiting self defense is the ultimate crime. Police carry guns to protect themselves. What protects YOU ??? Quote Link to comment

jgerry
I have an Evenflo Trooper carrier. It doesn't feel like it will handle many geocaching trecks well. The quality is only so so and adjustments for the baby and for the adult are not adequate for all body types. This is a good unit for the price, but you get what they pay for.. Quote Link to comment
+Jamie Z
What's this kid's volume? I have a pack that'll hold 1700 cubic inches. Surely a kid isn't that big. You could stuff him right in there. Maybe add a couple of toys and a twinkie. Jamie Quote Link to comment
