+Hot Pepper Crew
How would I go about finding out if anyone in my area is already planning a 12-12-12 event? We would like to host one, but don't want to step on any toes if anyone else is already planning an event in our area. It would be in the Burlington/Mt. Vernon area. I tried emailing Three Lashes, who hosted the 11-11-11 event last year in Bellingham, but haven't heard anything back yet. Thanks for any advice or suggestions! Quote Link to comment
+germanybert
I'd say try to message whoever is making the most events in your area and see what they say. From my experience there are only few people in any general area that create events. Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
Of course I'm planning an event - it's my wife's birthday! Whether I'm inviting anyone else is still up in the air. Quote Link to comment
+Sol seaker
Take a look at the most recent Groundspeak newsletter and look at "upcoming events." If there's nothing there, you could email a couple people who hold regular events, but it's not really mandatory. If the people you emailed don't respond shortly, and you don't see another event in the newsletter, then go for it. Have fun. Quote Link to comment

FluteFace is the WSGA 48 North Chapter representative. She would know if anything "official" is being planned. If not, you could offer to host a 48 North event. BTW, the cachers who held the 11-11-11 event are Three Bottles, and they're traveling at the moment. I'm sure they'll answer as soon as they get home. Quote Link to comment
