+PeachInOz
Hi, 7 days ago I left a geocache for others to find and filled out the listing form on this website. Checking it this morning it still says pending review. Is there anything I can do to nudge the reviewer along? It is a little discouraging to have to wait this long without any feedback? Or being in Australia, should I have registered it on geocaching.com.au instead? Apologies if I have done something wrong. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
That website says it is not affiliated with any other one(meaning this one) Groundspeak had told us to expect waits of about 7 days before the cache is looked at. Maybe there is a big event, or the reviewer is sick. Maybe no computer. There are lots of things that could be holding it back. If you have enabled it for review, you could email the reviewer. It will be the (usually) first log(at the bottom) of a local cache. and will say something to the effect of "enabled" or "published" Be sure to give him the GC number of the cache in question. +PeachInOz
I can't seem to find the email address for the reviewer. At the bottom of the entry it just says: Current Time: 06/22/2012 15:21:03 Pacific Daylight Time (22:21 GMT) Last Updated: 3 minutes ago on 06/22/2012 15:18:25 Pacific Daylight Time (22:18 GMT) Last Found: Never This cache has not been published yet. That doesn't mean YOUR cache still waiting for Review. It means a local to you, already published cache. Every cache you have found so far was published by theUMP. That is most likely your Reviewer, and can be contacted by way of the linked to profile. Quote Link to comment
+Sol seaker
Make sure you have checked the box at the bottom of the form to submit it for review. It is an easy box to miss. If it's taken that long I strongly suspect that box has not been checked. Check it out. (so to speak ) Quote Link to comment
+Cardinal Red
Move Along, Nothing to See Here. Cache has already been published. Move along. Quote Link to comment
