+edmck101
I just purchased a new Garmin eTrex 20 as well as a premium membership to Geocaching.com. Thinking I had everything needed to get started with geocaching, I plugged the Garmin into my Mac computer, found a nearby cache to download to the eTrex, and then clicked on "Send To My GPS." The computer "found" the connected eTrex 20 and I clicked on the "Write" button. A second later I get this message: "Geocache GC2ER1M.gpx saved successfully." Then I disconnected the eTrex from the computer, turned it on and navigated to "Geocaches" on the eTrex screen. The message says "No geochaches found." Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong here. This can't be that difficult, can it? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Quote Link to comment

There are problems with the Garmin Plugin. Check this thread in the Garmin forums. https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=25160 Quote Link to comment

+GeoTrekker26
Thanks, GeoTrekker. Problem solved! You are welcome! Note to moderator: I'm not sure what it takes to get a topic pinned, but I see people posting about problems with Garmin and Mac combo all the time. Maybe one of the many threads can be pinned in the appropriate forum and Garmin releases the fix as a general availability release? (And I don't even have a Mac!) Quote Link to comment
