+oletro
Hey fellow cachers! I get instant notifications whenever a new cache is published. When I press the "visit cache"- link, I used to get the option to select wether I would like to se the cache in SAFARI on my Iphone or the Groundspeak GEOCACHING APP. After a while I chose safari as my standard option. However after the new changes to the way maps are displayed within safari on my Iphone, I would prefer to see the cache in the Geocaching app. How do I change this setting? Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
On my ANDROID phone, I can set preferences like you have. To clear them I go to settings>applications>manage applications. If I was in your situation (and I have been) I would then select 'Safari' and then choose to 'clear defaults' for that app. This would (obviously) clear ALL defaults, so if there were other conditions when you would want to choose safari by default you would need to reset them. I realize ANDROID is not the same as your iPhone, but I'd bet the process is similar. Quote Link to comment

I believe you have to clear your browser cookies to reset this setting. Go to Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data. I had to do this a long time ago, and I think that's what it took. It would be awesome if they could add an option to change this setting in the app so we don't have to clear all our cookies just to make this change. Quote Link to comment
